Structural Technician

Madsen Pest Management is hiring a structural technician with excellent customer service and problem solving skills to provide timely and thorough pest detection, elimination and prevention solutions to customers throughout the region. Structural technicians enjoy working independently and in a variety of environments. We are willing to train the right candidate who possesses a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Work in a variety of environments including inside, outside, hot and cold, as well as small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
  • Utilize pest management techniques and proper application of pesticides
  • Effectively communicate pest elimination and prevention solutions to customers
  • Complete required documentation regarding services performed

Required: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch and climb for long periods of time
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Wildlife Tech

Wildlife Techs with Madsen Pest Management can expect no two days to look exactly alike.  Our growing team is looking for someone who can work independently, take on new challenges, and make a difference in the lives of both humans and wildlife. Wildlife Techs are expected to be creative, solve problems, and work in a variety of environments. Our techs are empowered to offer solutions they feel will best rid customers of their nuisance while practicing Asset Based Pest Management. Madsen Pest Management is excited to train the right candidate for this job.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Follow state/federal regulations and industry standards for proper removal and handling of wildlife, dead or alive. This typically includes working on roofs and/or using tall ladders and harnesses
  • Work in a variety of environments including inside, outside, hot and cold, as well as small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
  • Identify and offer repair suggestions for wildlife damage

Required: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch and climb for long periods of time
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Carpentry/construction experience preferred

Office Assistant

Madsen Pest Management is hiring office staff with excellent customer service and communication skills to assist our team in providing customers with timely and thorough pest detection, elimination and prevention solutions throughout the region.

Required: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
